How can you assess what the added value is of an SAP implementation for your SME?
SAP has developed tools to assist you with this.
The Value Engineers of Ordina's SME team will help you determine the value of a S@FE Solution®.
Enterprise Health Check: benchmarking
Sometimes business will be great, at other times it may be a little slow. In both instances, it would be useful to know how well your business is performing compared to the other players in your sector. The analysis of your current position helps you identify areas for improvement. For this purpose, SAP developed the Enterprise Health Check.
By means of an online questionnaire, you enter a number of key data related to the standardised key performance indicators (KPIs) for your industry. In addition, you also indicate to what extent you adopt best practices for your sector and how much importance you attach to them. The data are subsequently compared with industry benchmarks in the SAP database. This analysis highlights the areas where you excel and those where there is room for improvement. Based on proven realisations, improvements are quantified. In this way, you have a clear picture of where the proposed best practices may prove to be beneficial to your business.
Value Lifecycle Management: your business case
The Value Lifecycle Management tool shows you where a S@FE Solution could result in added value for you. Your current situation is the starting point. A number of key employees are interviewed and provide figures about KPIs. This information is evaluated against relevant benchmark data, thus showing you where your S@FE Solution® project could result in added value. Your improvement potential is quantified and supported by relevant reference points for your business. The study ends with a business case which clearly demonstrates the added value of the S@FE Solution® project, taking into account the implementation costs of the project.
Business Transformation Study: what have we gained from ERP?
SAP and its partners systematically collect and compare before and after data for ERP implementation projects. These data include customer experiences as well as figures about any realised improvements and added value as a result of the project. The Business Transformation Study serves as a reference and benchmark data but above all provides you with a unique showcase of realised improvements. These can be shared with the SAP customer ecosystem and with all your stakeholders.
